A large portion of people in tech (at least in my social bubble) shy away from legacy software and codebases with severe tech debt - plain JS, JS with no types, jQuery, jQuery UI, Angular (😏), Handlebars (or other templating systems), outdated React or Next.js, ...
@webscopeio, we get it.
When you're racing the market to deliver first, you can't afford to throw your tested jQuery stack away and start fiddling with the latest React.
It's often a conscious and critical decision to push the product first, then look back at the technology decisions, when there is time to take a breath again.
However, if not addressed in a timely manner, things will backfire if not addressed in a reasonable timeframe. The development will slow down, regressions will pile in.
If this is you and you want to address this situation, let me know. We focus on transforming legacy software into fast, SOTA dev stacks, and get you up to speed again, without compromising your commitments towards your stakeholders.

I had some time to sit down and reflect on the growth and changes of the @webscopeio team in 2023.
Disclaimer: We're a lean company. We don't hire unless we need to.
Hung is one of @webscopeio's most decorated engineers. Even though he spends most of his time working with .NET, he's been dipping his toes with React a Next.js.
Check this article where he discusses the basic principles behind Next.js's env files.

Not sure If I have any folks interested in @dotnet in my network.
However, our @webscopeio legend Hung has been on a roll with blog articles lately. The latest article discusses how to implement SAML2 authentication with JWT in .NET.
The concepts translate to other languages.

Today is the day @webscopeio releases another OSS product!
Let me introduce @MailingUI! 🎉
Hey you! 👋 Do you like open-source and hate building email templates?
@webscopeio we've been working on something really cool to address this pain point.
I'm really stoked about this - MVP will be out next week! 😍
We've just updated our leaderboard algorithm at @hiredevapp. The algo should be now a tad closer to the "OSS experience".
What do you think, @jerrinot? 😄

It's hard for me to recall when was the last time we kicked off a green-field project without Next.js + TailwindCSS.
Another step up in convenience for @webscopeio. 💜
📖Published a new article about a modern way to debug z-index issues.
I tried something different this time I'd say it's almost non-technical and "highly" visual with a bunch of tooling gifs.
