🏆 CDM 2026 Summer introduces a two-stage regular season designed to reward consistency while keeping lower-ranked teams alive deep into the tournament.

Stage 1: 15 teams are split into a Masters Group (8) and Challengers Group (7), playing single round-robin BO3s. The top four Masters teams advance directly to Stage 2 Masters. Teams ranked 5th-8th in Masters and the top two Challengers enter Decider Matches, where Masters sides hold a 1-0 map advantage. Winners secure Stage 2 Masters spots; losers drop to Stage 2 Challengers. The bottom two Challengers are eliminated.

Stage 2: Teams are re-seeded into Masters (6) and Challengers (6) groups for another single round-robin, now played as BO5s. The top two Masters teams advance directly to the Playoffs Upper Bracket. The bottom two Challengers are eliminated.

The remaining eight teams enter Bubble Matches, a three-round BO5 gauntlet. Higher-seeded Challengers start with a 1-0 advantage in Round 1. Winners progress, losers are eliminated or sent to the Lower Bracket depending on the round. By the end of the Bubble phase, two teams qualify to the Playoffs Upper Bracket and two to the Lower Bracket, completing the final postseason field.

In short: every match matters, top performers earn protection, and teams can still fight their way from the Challenger pool to championship contention through the Decider and Bubble systems.
