I'm a member of the Scottish Greens and tbh I would've appreciated some humility from my party today, and an admission that they were wrong to aggressively stonewall @LabourMercedes's amendment for a rent freeze just two and a bit months ago.
@Ross_Greer@patrickharvie Can you please explain why you voted against this mere months ago?
In June you were saying this was incompetent and breached human rights - are you now accepting that that was nonsense?

Our members weren't furloughed because they worked all through the pandemic and got other essential key workers to their jobs.
Our members are taxpayers so helped the country to make those furlough payments.
Doesn't sound greedy and self obsessed to me - quite the opposite
If only the plans for a Scottish National Energy Company were being followed through. But no: our renewables are being sold off to highest bidder. And SNP reduced to calling for “emergency aid” - rather than structural change. Why we need class politics and organisation.
The Scottish Greens have issued a press release celebrating the sale of our renewables to big oil and foreign capital.
No one can play innocent about them anymore.
Below is what the leader of Glasgow City Council, Susan Aitken said in January 2019, in response to me raising legitimate concerns on behalf of my constituents about the future of the historic People's Palace Winter Gardens.
And this is what the Winter Gardens looks like now. 👇🏻
I can only imagine what Glasgow would be like without the M8. So many beautiful buildings and communities lost to create it. Would be nice to remedy this enormous lack of foresight!
Glasgow 2030? The M8 has been replaced with urban streets for local journeys, homes, workplaces parks and squares. Glasgow is ranked #1 most livable city in Scotland. This is the view of the restored Anderston Cross...

It was an emotional moment to be reunited with James Sherriff's beautiful sculptures that I helped save from the rubble of the Springburn Public Halls in 2012. I'll be working with the community to find a permanent place for their redisplay in Springburn. https://t.co/hfts4jLjRJ
A 'trauma' lens invites us to look at structural inequalities, inequity and social structures. A 'mental health' lens locates the problem within the individual as something that sits inside them, that the individual has. This narrative is everywhere I look. This must be resisted.
