Well said and to the point. 100% true on all fronts.
The US promised help to Iranian protesters, then intervened militarily and asked them to stay home until the "right moment", insinuating that the US is planning to support them in the next round of uprising so they can take their country back from Islamists for good. But that moment never came. Now Vance is gaslighting us, as if this is not the age of the internet where we cannot show their track record of lies. Instead of the "right moment," a "good deal" suddenly appeared with false claims of regime change while the exact same regime with the same ideology persists and has not slowed its killing machine. Every day more people are terrorized and executed, and Trump and Vance act as if they have nothing to do with it? None of their business? Bullshit.
How did Trump cave this bad on the Iran deal?
His recent statements are absolutely insane and show a complete abandonment of the objectives outlined at the start of the war.
This is a complete failure and very sad to see.
Saudi Arabia seriously needs to take some action against Iran.
They’ve been hard talkers for some time, but seem to be backing down, even after being hit.
A regional effort against the Islamic regime would have tremendous benefits and speed the entire conflict up.
If media reports are true that there is a consideration of allowing Iran to have very small enrichment of uranium for face-saving purposes: screw that.
This regime is made up of religious Nazis that are the largest state sponsor of terrorism. The regime has American blood on its hands and they have killed over 30,000 of their citizens simply because they demand the end to their oppression.
I could care less about efforts to save face for this regime. I would like to see the people of Iran change the regime – it’s long overdue.
I hope help is on the way.
I pray for President Trump and his team to make the right decisions to keep America safe at this dangerous time.
History tells us the right decision is to stand by those who stand with America and sacrifice for our common cause. History also tells us that evil cannot be accommodated — it has to be defeated.
I remember how sick to my stomach I felt when we abandoned our people in Benghazi. I’ll hold that against Hillary Clinton til my dying day.
Our people have to include those who would be a friend of America in the face of oppression: the protestors in Iran and the brave Kurds.
These are difficult decisions. But to abandon the Iranian people and the brave Kurds would be, in my view, Benghazi times a million.
I am confident that President Trump, who has done a marvelous job protecting America, will make the right call. God bless President Trump and all under his command.
If you claim to support human rights yet can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a damn about people being oppressed and brutalised so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.
