@BonesawMD school systems fault. studies show highest possible cortisol release is from chronic negative social evaluation with no escape. school teaches u to fix things that r not alterable, for a decade. denial of personality. massive psychic damage, negative self context
@ArtemisConsort a lot of smart people are nd in some way and the school system instills(trying and failing to “fix” urself+ chronic negative inescapable social evaluation maximally releases cortisol) a negative self concept in most nds, which girls don’t like
@Anglokinist one example among many: spergs will take everything to be 100% literal, are confused by words with no clear directive(girls) and are perceptually incapable of seeing https://t.co/lclOwR94OL without systematizing it. nts pick it up naturally
@Anglokinist nds have to do this bc everyone thinks we are weird if we don’t.their brains r alien to u. in the past spergs would have been doing something productive away from people, respected for it, vs being trapped in highschool where face dynamics r only means of status
@Anglokinist spergs have processing differences that show up in brain scans. fundamentally different brains with different needs. ur very literal, can’t interpret intonations, expressions, etc automatically like others. was ok in the past bc more formal etiquette.
@tortured_man 85% of the problem growing up nd is u don’t absorb social skills/convention by osmosis like everyone else, you instead absorb the polite fictions and empty platitudes … when all u want and need is literal, direct instruction
@bonkydog i wrote a presentation a while ago that for anything non physical(consciousness included)to interface with the physical it has to be thru the quantum level bc it’s the only non deterministic part/for causal closure reasons
@tortured_man 85% of the problem growing up nd is u don’t absorb social skills/convention by osmosis like everyone else, you instead absorb the polite fictions and empty platitudes … when all u want and need is literal, direct instruction
@jose95290794@FrenlyOfficer i didn’t say it was worse j different. add the characteristic sense of rhythm, timing, commitment, bounciness, and it’s hard to brace for the rush. but if a more isometric race(white or hispanic) cracks thru the lunge, they’ll typically win
@BackTheBunny philosophy is the art of articulating solution space. the postmodernists r merely agents of entropy, who weaponize language for expedience, thus sophists not philosophers
@BackTheBunny I disagree, philosophers who construct frameworks, stake out what we ought to do, are a) valuable—many things can’t be done without the concepts and b) absorb great (moral)responsibility.
the deconstructionist, critical theorists, etc only destroy those frames—and they r female
@Kasiality@millysayseh@QiaochuYuan for the sake of argument say she wrote it herself. why is it self centered to take the time out of ur day to write something for someone? l and u don’t even have to read it. if she thought it was nice and it wasn’t shouldn’t u appreciate the attempt? maybe im wrong, pls explain
@NickTaber often these “pathologies” or just innate personality traits that r not changeable, and trying to fix them teaches the kid they r fundamentally broken. adhd is a great example of this—medication moves the needle only slightly, otherwise it is 100% set in stone.
