I’m so unemployable it’s almost funny. I sleep too much. I can’t handle stress. My brain capacity is smaller than an acorn. I don’t respect rules or authority. I have no interest in basically anything. My ideas are trash. I’m ugly and stupid. I hate meetings. I can’t do this.
The British establishment is one of the most satanic forces on earth, a cabal of cartoonishly evil incompetents who spend every waking hour demonizing an underclass of workers, immigrants, young people, trans people and disabled people who’ve already been completely immiserated.
I just witnessed a boy, maybe about 6 or 7, accidentally spill a slushee everywhere. I'm talking blue and red goop all over the floor, the table, everywhere. The boy looked up at who I assume was his father, and immediately apologized. Instead of getting angry, his father just said "Hey, it happens. Let's go get napkins and I can show you how to clean it up." Then they calmly went to get napkins and then he helped him clean the entire mess. Then, as they were throwing the napkins away, the father said to his son, "You're going to be a human being for a long time, and you have such a smart brain that it's important you learn how to be more aware of what you're doing. So next time just be sure to pay more attention to your surroundings so accidents like this don't happen. Accidents like these can be prevented, but it's still okay if they happen. As long as you take responsibility for your mistakes, the clean up is a breeze."
I have no words. That is parenting done right. 👏👏👏👏👏
EDIT TO UPDATE: they are still sitting nearby, and the father just said
"I know big messes seem overwhelming and you might feel like you can't do it by yourself, but it's always okay to ask for help. There is no problem with asking for help when you need it."
Friends, please RT this. People need to see it.
Hyperkin previously sold a TG16/PCE AV adapter that omitted proper output buffering/conditioning and essentially connected expansion-bus signals straight to consumer equipment. When I publicly demonstrated the problem, Hyperkin admitted that keeping the design “as basic as it gets” was a calculated decision.
Now they’re selling power supplies.
Power is the LAST place you cheap out, cut corners, or accept “good enough” engineering. Get voltage regulation, protection, polarity, filtering, or transient behavior wrong and you’re no longer talking about a bad picture or flaky controller. You can damage irreplaceable hardware.
I cannot tell anyone this new product is unsafe without testing it. But given my documented experience with their engineering decisions, I would not connect one to ANY console I care about.
Old hardware deserves properly engineered power. Please spread this around.

🚨#BREAKING: A mother is FURIOUS after a Pennsylvania town CRIMINALLY CHARGED her two little girls, ages 10 and 12, and dragged them into court...
...because a playground swing broke while they were spinning on it.
Yes, you read that right.
The two girls twisted the chains to get dizzy, the chain snapped, and the borough's response was CRIMINAL MSCHIEF CHARGES for a 10-year-old.
This is Springdale, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh.
On May 21st, a group of kids were playing at Veterans Memorial Park where two sat on the swing and the others twisted the chains up tight and let go, so the swing would spin them dizzy.
Every one of us did this as a kid... hundreds of times.
The chain broke. Nobody was hurt.
Two weeks later, a POLICE OFFICER showed up at Katie Huss's front door with SURVEILLANCE PHOTOS of the children on a swing.
The borough had split the repair bill among five kids.
$59 dollars each.
Three families paid up and their kids' charges disappeared.
Katie demanded more information:
"Show me the evidence my daughters did this on purpose and show me the swing was even inspected prior to this occuring."
She didn't pay and so her 10 and 12-year-old daughters were CHARGED WITH A CRIME.
Criminal mischief.
BY the way... under Pennsylvania's criminal code, that is a charge that requires INTENT.
The two little girls were terrified and had to sit in a courtroom while a police officer testified against them for "not using the swing properly."
Thankfully, the judge threw it out and found them not guilty.
It was CLEARLY an accident, not a crime.
...you would think it would end there, but it doesn't!!!
The borough is now threatening to sue this mother in CIVIL court over $180.
And Katie still hasn't been allowed to see the video they used against her children, it was shown to the lawyers, but not to the mom.
Nearly every single day, violent repeat offenders WALK OUT OF JAIL ALL THE TIME to prey on innocent people...
...but INSTEAD of dealing with that, we have built a system that lets predators go and prosecutes children for playing AT A PARK USING SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE TO WATCH THEM
America, we have LOST THE FREAKING PLOT!!!!
Btw "systemic racism" doesn't mean "lots of racists in the system". It means that even if there were *zero* "racists" present, the system would still disproportionately harm people of certain races. It's baffling that lots of educated folks don't understand this concept.
Apple made the MDM problem worse in iOS 26!
When an institution fails its contractual duty to unenroll a device before selling or transferring, the MDM notification now states that the institution OWNS it. It doesn’t.
Organizations dump or sell millions of Apple devices a year without unenrolling. Yet the new legal owner is left with a device which blatantly claims it’s not theirs — all because Apple decided to twist the knife.
