Just been to "Sunset Shop" on my street (a child knocked on and invited me to their stall. 😆) Such excellent service and just look at all my treasures!

@Yassamin_YSL @getintoteaching No one else but Yassamin would put a buffet on when you go for an interview! The way you care for your trainees is just incredible. #workmum #weloveYassamin

My form enjoyed a well-deserved treat this morning for being the first to finish three books during form time as part of @McrAcademy's Award Winning Fiction Program. Go 8T! 📚 #makemanchestermagic

@LiamHog1973 @McrAcademy It was really lovely actually! Beautiful scenery and weather and it was great to spend time with the students. They did us proud. 💙 I am pretty knackered but nowhere as near a much as they must be!

Making friends while at one of the check points, waiting to cheer on our fabulous year 10s from @McrAcademy doing D of E this weekend. It was such a privilege to hear so much positive feedback from the public about how polite and resilient they were. What superstars! 💪🌟🥉

@Dleigh_maybs Thanks Danie. Yeh, maybe one day. I've got a box with some bits and a picture so Phoenix will always have a place in our family, whatever happens. 🤍 xxx

I may no longer get the title of "Mum" this year but at least I get the title of "Aunty" to this gorgeous boy! 😍

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

@MaeganLuv Thanks Meg. You've been amazing support these last few weeks, couldn't have done it without you! 😘💞 And yes, I do look pretty good as an Aunty don't I! 😏🥰 xxx

Big day today... My twin is giving birth while my very own MA babies are sitting their first R.E. exam! Sending out as many good luck vibes as I possibly can ~> ~> ~>🤞 You've got this! 💪💙

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

Had fun making Christingles with my R.E. Induction classes this week. It was touching to see how many of them wanted to bag them up to light them at home but also fun to watch some of them tear into it as soon as the bell went! #Britishculture #Christmasfun @MInduction 🎄⛪️🎅

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

@MaeganLuv Oh no you poor thing!! Excellent news though. And well done! Of course he did well though, he has the best mum supporting him! ❤️ xxx

@ak8619R @MAPEDept @CGondwe1 @c3po786 @PatNiz1 Aw!! I am so sorry. I really wanted to be there, I was just too swamped. 😔 Really glad you all had fun though. 2022 will be your year Aysha. 😉❤️ xxx

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

@GeogRiley Of course they will be doing well if they've got you as their head of year! 😊💙 xxx

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

@Yassamin_YSL @EldonPrincipal Haha me too. Lots of good eggs at Manchester Academy, including you! 😊

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

You know your head is a good egg when he grafts alongside you after a long day to bring some much needed love to a classroom. In response to me saying a headteacher shouldn't be doing this he replies, "This is exactly what a headteacher should be doing"😊@EldonPrincipal #TheMAWay

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

@TomAnthonyD @McrAcademy @ManSchoolsFA Go Emerich! 👏 One of the nicest students. So proud! xxx

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

Just taking stock of a busy last week & came across this... On the last day of term a student presented me with this, along with a homemade cake. They said they'd spent 4 hours knitting it (it's a frog with a strawberry hat ☺️) MA students are so incredibly kind & talented! 💙😍

[Ms Burkinshaw @serena_uk]

@grant_science @htaylor96 Aw you too! Hope you enjoyed a well-deserved break 💚💛 xxx

Like clockwork the dreaded half-term cold has got me. Went on a weekend away to Ireland and I was unable to pop my ears on the plane there or back meaning they have been blocked for several days now. It's driving me crazy! Any advice anyone? All suggestions very welcome! 😫🤧
