@ParisAeroport I give ppl benefit of the doubt so if they default to English first, fine. But if the purpose is communication & there's a request to use French, continuing in Eng is rude & defeats the point. There needs to be a systemic change b/c it srsly happens every time & I'm tired of it.
In-laws are visibly holding French passports. Asked nicely for workers @ParisAeroport to use French w/ them as they don't speak Eng, but they cont in Eng. They get offended when I ask again more firmly. I'm not the rude one. This is racism. Happens every trip, not just 2x today🥲
@MikaelaShiffrin Emma Aicher! I wanna hear more about the behind the scenes of what you two thought internally as you two were battling it out for the overall globe!
@UberEats support is ridiculous. Issue wasn't addressed at all, support just kept copying/pasting the same template & closing the ticket. Even chatGPT would do better. What's the point of hiring support who can't even do their job? Unless Uber means for support to be this awful.
@Uber_Support No thanks. In addition to the time I wasted waiting for food that never arrived, I've also wasted a lot of time talking to MULTIPLE support reps who were not helpful at all. I have no reason to continue supporting a company that treats their platinum members this way.
@LindaMandolini I called @EdenHousing Eden Lodge in #SanLeandro. I simply asked if there will be changes in order to keep the elderly (i.e. my grandpa) safe. The person on the other end hung up after stating rudely "this is independent housing". Not reassuring. #ShelterInPlace
@united Because of this, we have to wait another 2 hours before we can get home after a super long day. And the flight is so full that we don't even have seats together. I don't buy that the bags just "shifted in flight". All four of our bags came out together in the 2nd round.
Took a hiatus from #100daysofcode as I transitioned into my new job as a software engineer! I'm starting again with a slight modification. Anything coding-related that I do outside of work will now count towards my hour.
I'm obviously not very good at this daily tweeting thing... anyway, for the last few days of #100DaysOfCode, I've been practicing recursive functions for #adventofcode so I'm getting much better at them! They used to frustrate me so much! https://t.co/bv3zBNgdE3
Days 29-30 of #100DaysOfCode: Sometimes I feel really confident about what I’m able to do and sometimes I feel like I know nothing. Right now, I am feeling more of the latter, but that’s okay! I'm looking forward to learning more about all these unknowns! https://t.co/bv3zBNgdE3
