Only a body worn camera that shows officer using deadly force to prevent a stabbing, and its immediately about police brutality.

@advocate4nurses @jUsT_A_bIkE_cOp I would agree for the most part. If it's anything like here, hospitals are extremely understaffed, and retention and recruiting efforts are failing. Why work a shit job for shit pay and shit abuse? It absolutely is a calling, but less and less good people are answering that call.

@momedic9019 @flhpi04 @jUsT_A_bIkE_cOp Absolutely, on the CrimJust side that's called the "dark figure of crime." It's literally an unknown value we have to account for. The only way to get better cops is recruiting better cops. But who would want to do this job now? Society has ruined this as a job for young people.

A guy once accused me of kidnapping him. I took him to jail for assault. The arrest was on camera, I was still "accused," and innocent

We literally have cops fired/charged for violating the law, who were only found out because they were turned in by other cops. Good cops hate bad cops more than anyone. For exactly the reason I asked the question in the original tweet.

Can cops across the country fix your dept? No. But media etc are holding all cops accountable for one cops actions. This makes good cops not want to work.

@momedic9019 @jUsT_A_bIkE_cOp Generally, officers aren't dicks outright. Cop's attitude are set by the attitude and actions of the subjects involved. Implying that cops can only be successful by being respectful, doesn't really have anything to do officers not working to protect their livelihoods from ruin.

One of the chants last year was, "What do we want? Dead cops!"

Being respectful only goes so far as it is reciprocated. And that goes both ways.
