Two ZK STARK projects that I really love:
1. @0xMiden -- @bobbinth completely surprised me on our very first call, and ever since. He was the first to build on his own a full ZK-STARK friendly virtual machine (Miden) and ZK-STARK proof system, by just reading my math papers.
2. @RiscZero -- @BruestleJeremy and the team made all the right choices at the time -- small fields (baby bear), first to aim for generic language support (Rust and RiscV), really solid approach to engineering and soundness.
Seven years ago, @bobbinth entered crypto with two obsessions: scalability and privacy.
Both were missing.
For him, both were non-negotiable.
That obsession is what eventually became Miden.

(Protocol Engineer)
@Sergeradd didnโt start in tech โ he earned a law degree and began his career as a solicitor! But a pull toward startups and a long-standing love for math eventually led him into the world of cryptography and distributed systems.
At Miden, heโs focused on the protocol stack โ implementing the node, building out infra and automation, and contributing to the cryptography crates and VM when he can. Basically: deep in the guts of the system.
Outside of work, Serge is a proud dad of two, and when he finds a spare moment, heโs gaming, boxing, or hitting the gym ๐ฎ ๐ฅ ๐ช
