Lamentamos  el asesinato de la periodista mexicana Roxana Guzmán.
Roxana Berenice Guzmán Ramírez fue secuestrada la mañana del 2 de junio 2026 en su domicilio ubicado en Nanchital, Veracruz, por un grupo de al menos tres hombres armados y encapuchados que irrumpieron por la fuerza mientras ella grababa el momento con su celular.
Detrás del secuestro hay una historia de violencia que data de 2017 y que la obligó a abandonar el estado durante años, antes de regresar para fundar su propio medio de comunicación y dedicarse nuevamente al periodismo.
La investigación por el secuestro de la periodista Roxana Guzmán dio un nuevo giro este viernes luego de que autoridades federales detuvieran a José “N”, alias “Delta 7", señalado como uno de los presuntos responsables de privarla de la libertad el pasado 2 de junio en Nanchital, Veracruz.
La Secretaría de Marina (Semar) reveló que el detenido habría declarado que la periodista fue asesinada y señaló el lugar donde presuntamente ocurrió el crimen. El sitio permanece bajo resguardo mientras peritos y autoridades ministeriales realizan las investigaciones.
Exigimos a las autoridades se investigue y se haga justicia. No se puede matar al periodismo, matando periodistas. #RoxanaGuzmán 🙏 DEP.

It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions.

But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

But the money is going to AI, not local journalism.

Today the UN-backed IPC has declared famine in Gaza City and its surrounding areas, which it describes as ‘entirely man-made'. Our new report, authored with @WorldPeaceFdtn, breaks down the architecture of genocidal starvation, concluding that the Israeli model for aid distribution in Gaza has exacerbated mass starvation in Gaza and contributed to the breakdown of Palestinian civil society.

Our analysis shows how Israel's new ‘military model’ for aid, implemented through the GHF and now also airdrops, is deliberately dangerous and ineffectual, and can by no means be considered ‘humanitarian’.

In the words of Alex de Waal, Executive Director of @WorldPeaceFdtn: ‘The dehumanization of Palestinians, the stripping of basic dignity, and the tearing apart of the fabric of the community are not accidental byproducts of the mass starvation inflicted on the people of Gaza. There is every reason to believe that these are what Israel intends through its militarised ration system.’
