Every recovering addict that has never used again does so through cognitive decisions and behavior. If it wasn’t a choice, nobody would ever recover from addiction. 🤷‍♂️

After a bad night, I stopped drinking cold turkey. I did the same with opioids. Haven’t used either in years. Addiction is a CHOICE that is made multiple times daily.
