Although I was not physically present @HRI_Conference , my contributions were there, and it is wonderful to see them receive recognition💫. So honored and happy for this! Thank you so much! #hri2025 A huge thank you to dear @AmyInMadison21 for sharing this news and the photo!🫂
📢 We are excited to share our new preprint from @BUrgenlab : "HR-ACT (Human-Robot Action) Database: Communicative and Noncommunicative Action Videos Featuring a Human and a Humanoid Robot" via @OSFramework. Here is the link: https://t.co/B1CwHIjreP
Recently started a small C library for mesh loading with 0 dependencies. Just finished glTF support, and it's starting to become relatively usable https://t.co/zZDAE5daKh
Also supports OBJ and JTF. I want to add a few more formats doable without dependencies, prob. 3ds/ply/ms3d.
RenderDoc v1.36 is now available! This version brings support for debugging DXIL shaders, as well as adding raytracing capture support to Vulkan and D3D12.

For anyone who feels up to experimenting on the bleeding edge, I have a @RenderDoc branch with improved DX11 shader debugging, allowing debugging at HLSL level with callstack & HLSL locals.
Feedback/bug reports are welcome, it's still work-in-progress!

Today, I had the honor of giving a talk at the Bilkent University Psychology Department Colloquium, presenting my PhD work to an engaged audience of valuable faculty and students.🫂 I am grateful for the invitation and so excited to continue my research as a postdoc at Bilkent!☀️
I’ve spent nearly half my life as a student at Middle East Technical University, and I can hardly believe it’s time to say goodbye. Today, I took care of some paperwork and wandered the beautiful campus that shaped my growth. I laid down on Devrim grass, listening to High Hopes.
Today marks the day The Hobbit was published, and it’s also our 5th wedding anniversary with @serkan3k 💫 We celebrated by listening to @bilkentsymphony’s amazing Lord of the Rings concert. It may not be the fanciest cosplay, but we are representing Tom Bombadil and Goldberry!🎶
Judero is OUT NOW!
(please make this go viral!!!)
It's a handmade stop motion action adventure based on Scottish folklore
We made it over 2.5 years with a small budget and just two people.
It's a true passion project for us, and I hope you like it!
1/5 Three years ago, on a September day (after months of life uncertainties), something great happened: we met with dear Burcu Ayşen Ürgen @BAUrgen to discuss starting a social robot project. Last Tuesday, another September day, I presented that project as my doctoral thesis!🎓
Congrats to my dear @TugceNPekcetin 🎉👏 You have made us tremendously proud while earning your well-deserved degree! Both the presentation and the Q&A was classy, too.
I am so happy and honored! Today, I successfully defended my PhD thesis and became a Doctor of Cognitive Science! I am incredibly grateful to my advisors&jury members for the truly inspiring Q&A session, and the online audience for their interest. So, this is what it feels like!
👩🎓Tuğçe Nur Pekçetin @TugceNPekcetin is now a DOCTOR in Cognitive Science! Congrats Tuğçe for the terrific work you have done over the past few years! Well-deserved, it’s time to celebrate 🎉 .
