Here’s how I currently see this cycle unfolding.

I believe the remainder of 2026 will be a year of recovery as global liquidity continues to improve and financial conditions become more supportive for risk assets. Then I expect 2027 to be the strongest phase of the bull market, with institutional participation continuing to grow and capital rotating further into Ethereum and the broader altcoin market. By then, I would expect sentiment to look dramatically different from what it does today, with far more optimism replacing the fear and skepticism we’re seeing now. From there, I think 2028 is likely to be a year of distribution, eventually giving way to a meaningful bear market or prolonged correction as excesses begin to build. Assuming the market returns to a more normal rhythm after this cycle, I would expect 2029 to mark the early stages of the next accumulation phase. Whether you view this as a traditional four-year cycle with a left translated peak or a longer cycle driven by institutional adoption and macroeconomic forces, my conclusion remains the same. I believe the market is still building toward a major peak in 2027 before the next meaningful bear market begins.
