Don't use Sci-Hub — it's a "controversial" website with 84M+ research papers freely available.
We should try to make billion-dollar academic publishers richer.
Here's an updated thread on integrating Sci-Hub with Zotero to get free papers.

Everyone knows sleep is important. But just how important is it? The CDC reports that around 33% of men don't sleep the recommended 7 hours or more each night.
While there are many tips you can find for how to sleep better, some of the most important ones are setting your bedroom up for great sleep, and being consistent with bedtime and wake times. You can read more about this here: https://t.co/507zb8i4Hw
Recommended protein intake is a controversial topic in some circles. If you talk to bodybuilders you might hear 1 gram per pound of body weight per day. If you ask the FDA, they'll say around 50g a day.
To conflate these two differences, it's important to understand where they come from. The FDA's primary aim with their daily limits is to prevent disease. So, eating 50g/day will be sufficient for nearly everyone to avoid getting any diseases that might be cause by insufficient protein. However, this amount of protein likely isn't optimal for muscle growth in the way that bodybuilders are aiming for.
So, get at least 50g of protein a day, and beyond that, get take in an amount that works for you and your goals.
It can be difficult to know how much exercise is the right amount. Most recommendations will be around 150 minutes of vigorous exercise every week, or about 30 minutes every day.
However, there is a proven health benefit to any exercise above this amount, up to about 55 hours a week. So long story short, exercise as much as you can/have time for!
Knowing how much water you need to drink can be a tricky balance. While most people certainly don't drink enough, some people drink too much. General recommendations are 3.7L for males, and 2.7L for females.
A good way to ensure you're getting the right amount of water is to gauge the color of your urine. You should be aiming for a pale yellow color.

Here’s more on the issues of non-profits being exempted from upcoming @FTC ban on non-competes. FTC is clear that merely listing as a non-profit per tax status does not make an entity exempt. Interested in hearing folks opinions about physician partners who are shareholders also being exempt, outside of the situation where the group sells & the buyer has a non-compete as part of the purchase. https://t.co/n0uE3FddXP
Eating lots of fruits and vegetables is essential for good health. Did you know that only around 10-12% of Americans eat enough servings of each every day?
An easy way to get more fruits and vegetables in your diet is to chop them all at the beginning of the week for easy snacking throughout the rest of the week.

My PSA—Hello @mcuban—since you are dunking the pharma industry (based on your profile) why don’t you do the same for the “third party administrator” (TPA) industry as well? You could dominate the TPA industry inside of 3 years. Offer fair contract rates to physicians, hospitals & other clinicians, charge your cost + % and pass the savings onto employers. Last I checked there are 120-130M ERISA plan beneficiaries. The health plans will despise you like pharma but the rest of America will want you to run for POTUS! #LetsGO #GameON
