@pmarca Feels very naive to assume that technology will solve problems. We have technology for food, water and shelter, yet many people don’t have these things.
Great feature from @goodreads. Very fast way to remember books you see in real life (perhaps at a bookstore). Also it’s super fast to see the rating of a book which can be a good factor to make a purchase or not.
@Safeway today I clipped a bunch of coupons, but they did not work at checkout in store. The store associate couldn’t help and says they have that issue a lot. The store is on Jackson St in San Francisco. help!
Normally the coupons work for me at the Oakland, CA locations.
@petti_mayonaise@EMukumbo Better quality items last longer but needs, fashions and body sizes change over time. Usually not worth paying way more for longer lasting products.
@netflix I love the speed control feature in the browser. A lot of things become "interesting enough" at 1.5x speed. Please bring this feature to the Roku app!
@nucholibre oh wow! didn't know about this. very underreported in the news.
appreciate you sharing this. yes I guess it should be expected that crisis becomes an opportunity for corporations to grab $$. truly reprehensible.
@EudesRJ@Square Good point -- signing may not be required
But would love to be able to set the tip on my device and not the shared iPad.
Maybe Square could have a QR code I could can to allow me to set the tip?
@square It would be cool if I could tip/sign on my phone instead of the iPad. I already have my phone out for Apple Pay.
This would be more hygienic. Plus I could decide the tip without the social pressure of having the cashier watch me.
