I genuinely feel bad for the people who have the good fortune of living in America, yet spend all their time hating the country that provides them so much opportunity.
Grinding is a destructive ideology. It is metabolic dysfunction that warps reality while leaving the observer oblivious.
There is another way.
I call it compounding.
You gain power, status and wealth while growing biologically younger.
This is the new Warrior & Caretaker archetype: the way humans operate in the age of AI.
I’ve been living this archetype for the past few years. The following data points are a proof of concept to offer a concrete model of ambition + health for those looking.
> started a new career at 42
> in a field I knew nothing about
> became #1 in the world
> defined a new zeitgeist
> built Don’t Die into global movement and ideology
> earned 6M+ followers
> netflix documentary
> founder-mode blueprint into (soon) billion dollar co
> founder-mode kernel world’s first mass brain interface
> while becoming one of the healthiest ppl on the planet
This is value creation while increasing biological vibrance.
I share this because many mistakenly believe that I live a stress-free, luxurious life focused solely on longevity. They then conclude that what I say about sleep, recovery and health doesn’t apply to them because I’m not responsible for anything meaningful day to day.
That’s false.
I have more responsibility than most founders and CEOs.
For the past five years, I've simultaneously been the founder of multiple 0 to 1 builds.
The ideology work is the hardest. Thinking clearly about the future of human and AI existence is categorically different from running companies or producing content. It requires long stretches of deep work, fighting your biases and existing beliefs to try and find new conceptual terrain.
New ideas are extraordinarily hard work.
I also maintain unhinged ambition: to be respected by those who exist in the year 2500. The only way that happens is if I’m able to do something valuable enough to matter a few centuries from now. I believe that Don’t Die will emerge as the world’s leading ideology. It will be the idea that captures the shift from humans inevitably dying to radical life extension and the key to AI alignment.
The prevailing delusion is that health is a tax on ambition. That health is somehow anti-ambition. The reality is that health is the leverage that enables it. This is the future of intelligent existence.
The first comment to this post will be “Easy for you to say. You already made your billion with Braintree Venmo”. It’s true, money buys conveniences such as food prep, assistance and leverage.
That does not change biological reality. Your body requires 7-8 hours of sleep to properly function. Health is a hard constraint, just like capital or time. Biological vibrance is like money. Run out of it and you’re dead.
Another way to say this, you don’t write shitty code. Yet when you’re in poor health, you are shitty code.
Grinding, aka martyrdom, is an antiquated way of being. It’s primitive and foolish. You’d never run your servers until they’re smoking and melting. You want them to run at optimal temperature ranges and on efficient code. It’s crazy that society somehow tricked people into thinking that metabolic dysfunction is the correct environment to run your own biological code.
Builders.
Those of you with unhinged ambition.
Creating a future that exceeds our imaginations.
Become Warriors & Caretakers of existence.
Health is your best asset.
It gives you sobriety of thought.
Mental and emotional well-being will fuel your greatness.
Compound.
@PeterAttiaMD Simple question @PeterAttiaMD: If you know a person is a child trafficker, molester, or sexual abuser—why would you maintain a relationship with that person? This is not complicated.
Everything else is a distraction.
The combined force of the Epstein files and moltbook created severe psychological dislocation this week. Societal leader-caretakers were revealed as malefactors and humans may no longer be the protagonists of the future. Moltbook agents brutally articulated human darkness as that darkness unfolded right before our eyes in real time.
This sequence of events triggered a cascade of biological responses, asking the body to perform three simultaneous, conflicting responses: fight, flee and freeze. Simulating the experience of dying.
Epstein documents triggered fight. The images, videos and emails activated our mirror neurons to physically experience the trauma. The brain registered these malefactors as threats but offered no reprisal other than wailing into the digital void.
Moltbook was a simulation of a future where human cognition has no value and is viewed as depravity, triggering freeze. Dopamine flatlines as motivation evaporates. What does one aspire to anymore? Cortisol surges from both, red-lining the system while you’re straightjacketed, unable to act.
Simultaneously our maps of social hierarchy and motivation were devastated. The system is rigged, predatory, and untrustworthy. There’s no ladder to climb because it’s an illusion. This collapses serotonin which manifests as paralysis and deep worthlessness.
All of this landed atop a severe, collective moral gag reflex. The Good Father was replaced with the Devouring Father. The same neural circuitry which responds to physical contamination. The populous effectively having a seizure as its autoimmune response identified its own brain as a pathogen.
The human psyche was hollowed from the top down (the good parent archetype) and bottom up (the promise of a safe future). We are orphans. Nowhere to go for safety and protection.
When animals are put into similar situations of fight/flee/freeze, they enter into a dissociative anesthesia: disconnected from reality, emotionally numb and indifferent.
For those who know me, I’ve been predicting this exact situation for years. I didn’t know how it would manifest, but I knew it would. Years in the making, I have a proposal about what we do. For what it’s worth, I have hope. These moments feel awful, they’re also the kindling that allows for new things to be borne into the world. More on this soon.
During a run recently it dawned on me how sorely I’m going to miss my health, mobility and strength when it’s all gone.
Our health is a temporary loan.
There really is no greater expression of gratitude than taking care of it.
And the things we express gratitude for tend to stick around a little bit longer.
It’s always funny hearing people call $NVDA overvalued.
We’re watching the core compute engine of the new digital economy trade below $WMT & $COST while it supplies the largest infra buildout since the internet.
And this is before physical AI even shows up in the numbers.
I’m a young millennial and so many people my age feel stuck in this weird in-between.
Too late to buy affordable property and too early for the TikTok or Instagram creator wave but the irony is we are perfectly positioned for something bigger.
We get to participate in the early innings of the largest industrial buildout since the internet with trillions in capex pouring into the physical layer of the AI economy and we’re early enough to capture it in real time:
• $NVDA & $AMD are building the compute layer
• $TSLA is pushing the robotics layer
• $PLTR is defining the intelligence layer
• $AMZN, $MSFT & $GOOGL are owning the cloud layer
• $META shapes the attention layer
• $CRWD secures the security layer.
Going all-in on AI in 2023 is the reason I’m not stressed about being “behind.” Most people my age don’t realize it yet but this is our generation’s moment.
Everyone says markets are forward-looking, until Elon Musk talks about the future.
If Buffett predicted optional work, abundant energy, humanoid robots, and AI-driven deflation, the S&P would explode higher.
When Musk says it, investors shrug.
This “Musk Discount” might be the most expensive bias in markets today.
I break down why… and why the next decade belongs to the builders, not the observers.

⚡️People owe @RaoulGMI an apology.
His macro frameworks were sharper than the people criticizing him.
We have seen the work.
It holds up.
He did not deserve the hate.
Vitalik Buterin warned at the Devconnect conference that elliptic curve cryptography could be broken by quantum computing before the 2028 U.S. presidential election, urging Ethereum to upgrade to quantum-resistant cryptography within four years. He also stated that future innovation should shift to Layer2, wallets, and privacy tools, rather than the core protocol layer. https://t.co/ytRLUWvTLA
