🔥🔥Southeastern University! You’re 2019-2020 MCA (Multi-Cultural Affairs) team has been preparing this year to be filled with inclusion, diversity, support, and honor of different cultures, backgrounds, and stories. We cannot wait for you to join us at the table!✨✨
On #Juneteenth and every day, support Black-Owned Bookstores and Black authors: “Black Authors on their Favorite Black-Owned Bookstores” | Read It Forward https://t.co/4n4fT0XFwm
#Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned of their emancipation. In this view from space, Galveston is seen from the @Space_Station. Today we reflect on how far we've come and how much further we have to go.
This #Juneteenth, we celebrate the Coloured Hockey League. Founded in Nova Scotia in 1895, the league was formed by the sons and grandsons of escaped slaves, whose innovations helped create hockey as we know it today.
In our Movement, there is no place for racism or discrimination against any person in any form. As we build communities of inclusivity around the world, we are proud to stand w/ our black teammates & take #Juneteenth as a moment of reflection ➡️ https://t.co/UaGNzMRmcj. #BLM
"When you talk about diversity it’s about including everybody. When you include you don’t discriminate against anyone." -Loretta Claiborne, Chief Inspiration Officer // #ChooseToInclude#BlackLivesMatter

When @andrehenry returned to his Alma mater this year many people couldn’t understand why. I’m grateful that he did. There are voices that are showing us a new way to move forward through old lessons. Thank you Andre for not quitting.
Watch “Working Toward Equality, Justice, and Change” on #Vimeo https://t.co/jY9dOm4HW1 had a great conversation this week about moving forward @seuniversity. Check it out. @seu_mca

#HappyEaster from all of us at SEU! Today though things may look different, we can celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, who never changes!
Although our celebrations may look different this year, our unwavering faith remains the same. For me, Easter is a time of hope––a reminder of rebirth and renewal––and a belief in a better day to come. From my family to yours, we wish you all a blessed and joyful Easter.
