@james_xond Your use of the term "stick" to denote a manual gearchange suggests that you are in North America. If you wish to constrain your answers to your own country only, mention it in the question.
@james_xond In many countries, including mine (UK) a manual gearchange is normal and an automatic is rare, so absolutely yes. The rise of electric cars may overturn this, because their forward / reverse / park selectors feel much like an automatic.
