Trust me ESPN, if I’m watching South Alabama-Marshall on a Tuesday night, you don’t need to promote this Saturday’s games for me. I know that they’re happening.
The frat-boy-to-loan-shark angle embedded in this story is hilarious.
One of Pablo's co-defendants and frat brothers, Lars, borrowed $1,500 but Pablo for Spring Break, and when he couldn't repay the money, Pablo had him work it off running coke around Happy Valley.
Another guy also owed Pablo thousands and ended up selling coke for Pablo to pay it off, in addition to admitting to purchasing tens of thousands of dollars on top of the labor he was providing.
So not only was homeboy the chief coke supplier in Happy Valley, he also built an entire credit system where unpaid loans were converted into dirt cheap distribution labor.
Tens of thousands in free labor for a forgiven $1,500 loan? I'll take that trade any day.
A true rags to riches story!
