My own site scored 67 on mobile performance.

I spend my days around WordPress content, so that one stung a little.

I asked AI to run a health check on my site using https://t.co/OgDXA8juL9 and here's what it found.

The main image takes 8.6 seconds to show up on a phone.

The homepage loads about 425 KB of JavaScript and CSS it never uses.

And there's no meta description on the homepage, the exact thing I'd point out on anyone else's site.

Best Practices came back 100 and SEO 92, so not all bad.

Almost every WordPress site has a contact form nobody has opened since the day it was made.

The button says Submit. Every field is required. The message box gives no hint what to write. Each of those costs a few enquiries a month, and none is worth an afternoon in the form builder.

WordPress won't let you upload an SVG. There's a good reason: an SVG isn't just a picture, it's code, and it can carry a script that runs when someone opens it.

So every time I asked my AI to add a logo, it had to stop and say "convert it to PNG first."

WPVibe 1.19 fixes that. Your AI can now add SVG logos, icons and illustrations to your Media Library and your theme.

The part I care about: every SVG is cleaned before it's saved. Scripts, event handlers, hidden links to other sites, and CSS that could load anything are stripped out. Files that can't be cleaned are refused.

It runs for admins too. WordPress usually trusts admins to upload anything. We'd rather clean it anyway.

We threw 60+ known attack files at it before shipping. None got through.

One of the very few things that irritate me the most is when you meet someone and they are talking to you but looking into their phone. I believe I cut off with several people because of this reason. Good riddance.
