@lollypeezle Dear Lola,
Your absence due to rain is disappointing, as we expected more commitment from you as a Team Lead.
Kindly note that this will be treated as leave without pay, & repeated actions of this nature may attract disciplinary measures.
Be guided accordingly.

@HakeemHappyboy@talk2veee It is a lack of self-worth that is the foundation of a 30 year old calling a 10 year old broda in the first instance because she is a "wife".
But you are not against civilization, because civilization is why you are using a phone.
Calling a 13yr old Aunty is silly
@HakeemHappyboy@talk2veee A 30 year old calling a 12 year uncle because she is married to their brother?
What is the basis of that? That we met a culture does not mean we should hold on to it if it devalues one party. That part of our culture needs to be outdated and dropped.
@raji_timothy @the_olufash @ElohoOtugo_ How can I forget John 3:16?
Except a MAN be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God!
Guess Jesus also excluded women here or can we get born again?
The language was male centred, but the principles applies to both male and female. Hope this clarifies!
@raji_timothy @the_olufash @ElohoOtugo_ So when Jesus said, "Men always out to pray and not faint," Women were excluded?
When he said, "Let your light shine before men," in the same Matthew 5? Was it for men?
What shall it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? - Women can lose theirs?
@gencartmanlee@andrepappiii @TowFunFun @ThaBoyYom It's really not that deep though. You shouldn't feel triggered by a simple observation a stranger made on the Internet.
@andrepappiii @TowFunFun @ThaBoyYom That's why I agree that misogyny wasn't the best word because the context of the society was different.
I think her horror is because she is looking at it with the lens of today’s world and context, and that is understandable.
@andrepappiii @TowFunFun @ThaBoyYom Glad you guys got her point. It seemed to fly above the head of most.
Maybe misogyny wasn't the best word, but it's definitely patriarchal
They named the female anatomy primarily in relation to male anatomy.
Even ignoring it's most nobel & greatest role of childbirth. Crazy!
@Wizarab10 There is a huge difference between why you love someone and what you love about them.
I love the way you laugh is something I love about you- not why I love you. Others laugh the same way and I don't love them so it's not a why I love you. I can't explain why I love your laugh.
@Wizarab10 I can relate. I bathe & even iron my clothes on a Saturday when I'm not going anywhere.
Funny enough, I didn't know everyone didn't do that till I got to Uni.
My roommates were like "where are you going? Are you expecting someone?
Being clean & dressed makes me feel good.
@mrmacaroni It takes a depth of greatness to resist putting one's self in the limelight when it is not one's turn.
Wisdom is recognising that those calling on you today just want to use you to shame someone else.
Integrity is refusing to be a tool of hatred & ignoring such a call.
