@conorbyline There’s probably a happy medium between the South Korean response and the Scottish approach of ‘it was great to just be there and enjoy it, now let’s keep producing poor footballers who will continue to fail to compete on the world stage because we love a plucky loser.’
@Ryan1707805083@AgentScotland It’s an attempt to delegitimise Celtic’s success. For Rangers fans to complain about any soft refereeing decision, by Beaton of all people, is unhinged. I suppose when you’re used to special treatment, and VAR somewhat levels the playing field, it feels like persecution.
@IrishScotsCelt@pieandbov I think it’s a clear handball. Slowing it down still by still confirms it, though it’s more difficult to see in the rolling footage. My rule of thumb is that if Beaton can bring himself to make a decision that benefits Celtic, you can be confident that there’s no other option.
@riboid007@GraemeBailey@TEAMtalk Quite amazing that a long-term Rangers captain could have more managers than trophies. Shows what a diddy team they’ve become.
@AHunterGuardian Mad if he goes to Spurs instead of one of the other 3. He’s still good enough to play for a big club and has a chance to experience a difference culture and learn a new language to boot.
@Brian4564166386@geezpeaceu@aboutceltic I think that’s unfair. If Celtic don’t think a player’s good enough, they’ll get rid of him, so we can’t grudge a player making a choice to maximise his career opportunities and income. As long as a player under contract gives his all while he’s at the club, that’s enough for me.
