@sfccut@JCHartzell The university has a long-standing commitment to sustainability. The Office of Sustainability, led by Jim Walker and established in 2009, is responsible for implementing UT's Sustainability Action Plan.
DEMAND 5: Agree to meet with us, Students Fighting Climate Change (SFCC), to discuss what is being done regarding the university’s actions towards mitigating climate change and address it's role in fossil fuel production.
UT STUDENTS, WE NEED YOUR URGENT SUPPORT: Tomorrow is @JCHartzell student advisory meeting. @sfccut was scheduled to present our 5 demands for climate action but were REMOVED from the schedule abruptly.
Rally with us tomorrow 10:30 -12:30 to tell UT to listen to students
DEMAND 4: Form an independent democratic committee that will represent students, faculty, and third-party experts, with the goal of creating a climate equity action plan for the university.
