@StanCollymore Embarrassing - Aldershot, home of the British army and the Gurkha regiment some of which are still based here - amongst the most courageous soldiers who have put their lives on the line for the country they now call home.
@GoPro SO frustrated - can’t get into my Quik (Premuim) account as no 2-Step verification code received from you- would have more luck raising the dead than accessing customer support - account and camera useless as I can’t upload! 😡
@roadcc What a complete load of bollox @HantsPCC - absolute shameful cop out - ‘could not have been reasonably avoided’? How about if the driver had actually opened her eyes and looked…And to victim blame cos of clothing…that’s a risible comment.
@100Climbs Used to cycle centuries as a lad on my 5 speed Puch Pacemaker steel ‘racer’. And now an S-Works is the same price as a decent second hand car🤷🏼♂️
@KarenSquires18@LBC Yeah…..whist we’re at it, let’s add in Cows and Lightning, just to be belt and braces, rather than concentrating efforts on targeting what’s statistically more likely to kill you.
As you watch the Aurora this evening, it’s worth reflecting that you’re getting a rare direct glimpse of the power of Nature. Those charged particles causing the atmosphere to glow came from a sunspot complex 17 times the diameter of Earth and traveled across 90 million miles at a million miles an hour. Without our magnetic field to protect us, our atmosphere would have been lost to space long ago. Those colours in the sky are Nature reminding us that we’re very lucky to be here amidst the violence. And perhaps therefore also reminding us not to shite it all up :-)
