@BradshawLSWR I knew it as a hospital, but not that it had been the Workhouse--fascinating! I used to catch the bus to Beaminster for school from there; would leave my bike chained to that very lamp post (or its forebear?) That was when Barrack St. was still open, no Sea Road extension yet.
