@airindia You’ve repeated that multiple times and I understand it.
Can you tell me which class did I book in and which one the fare is lower now for? Are those two different classes? @airindia@MoCA_GoI@airsewa_MoCA
AI's own site sells my exact route/cabin, 2 senior citizens, DEL-LHR & LHR-DEL, both non-stop, for ₹137,090 today. I already paid ~₹160k. Yet they want ₹75k MORE to "change" my ticket = ₹235k for a seat the public books for ₹137k. Make it make sense. @airindia@MoCA_GoI
What’s your escalation process @airindia ?
Your backend team hasn’t been giving me clear answers, the nodal officer hasn’t replied for two weeks, what’s next? @MoCA_GoI@airsewa_MoCA
@airindia Again a standard reply. Dynamic fares. 🤦♂️
You can’t even give a specific reason on why I’m being asked for additional fare. Can you tell me specific classes I’m booked in vs available online?
SO FRUSTRATING. @airindia
@airindia I've already shared the DM with you in the past. DM'ed again. Same standard template response - "dynamic fares" I still don't know why I'm being asked to pay more. @airindia
@airindia ‘A reissued booking can’t be merged with a new booking discount’ so you admit the same flight, same date, same cabin is cheaper on your site. You just won’t honour it because I already paid ₹160k. That’s not a discount I’m after, it’s your published price, I’m charged ₹90k MORE
Online price for tickets (2 pax) - 139,454 INR. I had already paid 160,000 for an open ticket. But your customer care says "system" shows to pay additional 90,000 INR rather than getting a refund. LOL. @airindia
@airindia What do you mean by new booking discount? Just because so booked a ticket with you earlier and paid in advance, means I’ve to pay more for a cheaper ticket IN THE SAME CLASS? @airindia
@airindia It’s like I’m talking to a machine.
Original complaint is - Why the fares are different when I try to get a new ticket on the same dates at the same time on your website? That’s my complaint. I understand fares are dynamic.
@airindia This is your reply @airindia?
I was on a call with the support team and checking the fare in parallel on YOUR website. If the fare was lower on the website, why was I being asked to pay additional money?
Can I check flights for this PNR online myself?
