Every August, I reach out to family members of the patients I have lost.
Just touching base and seeing how they are doing. Reminding them how their family member continues to impact many of us over these years.
Today, spoke with a dad whose son passed more than 10 years ago. And how there is a diet at the hospital still named after his son 😊 He has not forgotten those moments, of smiles and joy in the hospital, even when times were dark.
