@hard4games@analogue I only own their Pocket device and absolutely love it. However, their lack of communication, transparency, and shipping make me never want to deal with them. Still waiting on Pocket Dac support..
@dyhptg As an aside, people didn't unanimously hate the N64 controller at the time, and for a while offered the best way to control console FPS's. When dual analog control schemes became the norm that the trident was retroactively deemed "crap" and somehow was deemed as always this way.
@dyhptg I definitely called is the PSX on occasion in the 90's and remember online and magazines sometimes referring to it as such, as well. Like others have said, the OG PlayStation wasn't the PS1 until the PSOne came out.
@Voultar On the other hand, since youre using your platform to promote Saroo, you may want to at least mention that there are several versions out and that firmware updates, configuration, etc might vary vendor to vendor.
@MameHaze Tbh, I'm having a little trouble following your argument. It seemed like youre talking about technical ability but what it really is about is the software library - which is fine. We all have preferences.
@MameHaze Interesting take. Care to give any examples of something on the PS3 that the Switch can't handle? Not saying you're wrong but Im struggling to think of anything. However, I can think of a few switch games that the PS3 could probably never run such as Doom and The Witcher 3.
@THELEGACYOFSEGA My Killer Instinct arcade pcb. I brought it back to life and play it more than any of my other arcade pcbs. It's the Killer Instinct I loved at the arcade and always wanted on my N64.
@TastingHistory1 Loved the new video but wanted to correct you on strainers. A "chinois" - which seemed to be recommended actually has small holes like the one you used. A "china cap" has larger holes and is typically used for straining stocks with large bones and veggies.
@iFixRetro@kamicane I agree though, your gameboy to do with as you please. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't destroyed some hardware in the name of modding. Honestly, it's just online sellers I'm concerned about.
@iFixRetro@kamicane You understand the irony that your handle is iFixRetro but you're posting about destroying hardware to create a frankenstein with parts meant for preservation?
@iFixRetro@kamicane I appreciate hardware like this that can bring back broken gameboys from the dead but it sucks that some people are going to destroy good hardware for this.
I obviously don't know if that's what you are doing but people will. And they'll try and justify it.
