@EditorBTB @juliamacfarlane Clavell's Tai-Pan is great too, about the very beginnings of the Swire v Jardine rivalry and about Hong Kong's early days as a British colony. Very entertaining. I enjoyed it as much as Noble House (and agree on the mini series, it's excellent)
