Retired military very interested in the propaganda campaign being waged in Syria. I would love to see photos and translation of leaflets used by either side.
@OlenaRohoza No, but not for any political reason. I believe the prize is for peace makers and Zelensky is fighting a war. He had no choice in the matter, but a peace prize goes to the guy who stops the war, not one of the combatants.
@w3bsag3 Being a leaflet expert and I can tell you that this leaflet was "copied" from an American leaflet used in Operation Desert storm to make the Iraqis believe the USA would attack by sea. It is almost identical except that in place of the Star of David it has a Marine.
@BenGreenJeru That is a good leaflet. Thank you for posting it. I am an American that studies these leaflets. I would love to hear more about any other leaflets you run across. I would also enjoy seeing a more accurate translation. Can you send me one.

@AbdulEllen37796 Thank you for showing this leaflet. I study propaganda and the IDF leaflets are interesting. Can you tell me about Al-Matari? I am not aware of anyone by that name in Gaza.
@Gerashchenko_en I wish you good luck in your continued fight against Russia. I spent most of my military career studying Russia and later instructed troops in a wargame called "Fulda Gap," where the troops tried to protect Germany against Russian armor. I am so proud of you for fighting on.
@DrRadchenko I don't think any of you realize how bad it was. The subs were out and SAC was in the air. We told the Russians that a missile from Cuba would be considered a missile from Russia. The Army wanted to hit the beaches. The Russian CIC had authority to use nukes against the invasion.
Thank you for the translation. Many of these leaflets look awful. They were just photographed on the street. This should be an easy one, just three lines.
@syncronus Often the soldier will lose a stripe or two. Sometimes these leaflets are used for deception, one side trying to make the other side look weak or even calling the local women whores to make the military people look weak or bigoted.
@syncronus This is a quite common military leaflet. We prepared many such leaflets and posters in WWII. The fact is that men will be men and no matter where you go you will usually find a prostitute if you look hard enough. In the Army the commander usually decides on the punishment.
@Korean_Leaflets this is a two side poster from the Jilli program. I recognize many of the photos showing happy ROK soldiers because they appear on leaflets. It would be nice to have both sides of this one translated.
@albafella1 I am a retired military that writes about leaflets. I have been following this war and have seen two sexual leaflets so far. I see you posted a third one today. Can I possibly get a clear picture of that anime blond without the big trade mark over the picture?
@Korean_Leaflets Something new to me. It looks like a postwar North Korean leaflet dropped along the DMZ. But it mentions the war and code is odd. Could this be an enemy leaflet dropped during the war on the South Korean troops?
@Korean_Leaflets This is one of four leaflets coded 315-318, all of which are in the form of defector letters back to friends or acquaintances in North Korea.
