Why Are Teachers So Tired All The Time? 😴
Research shows we make about 1,500 decisions a day! The constant requirement to ‘be on’ becomes DRAINING to our brains and bodies. It is called ‘Decision Fatigue’.
This explains a lot!
@EdLdshpMSUM A5: I think another important aspect to great leadership is healthy important relationships! We talk about how important that is in the classroom but it is also important to have solid relationships outside the classroom and as a leader #MSUM634
@EdLdshpMSUM I will use my 5 strengths when connecting with people. I think it gives me more confidence to know what my exact strengths are. I will be more straightforward with my strategies on approaching others and ideas.
@mommaof4boyz@ASnyder513 Totally! When I saw one of my strengths, I thought no way! But then I actually read what it entailed and saw alot of my traits in there!
@EdLdshpMSUM A3: All kinds of strengths can be effective if you hone your skills and use your personality. I loved learning my top 5 strengths from the assessment. It reiterated why I'm choosing to learn more about leadership in schools #MSUM634
@EdLdshpMSUM A2: Strengths! You can not be good at everything! Focus more on the strengths you are already good at. Best to shine in your area!

@raepica1 So sadly true. I once had a man, I didn't even know, tell me that teaching Kindergarten is just like a daycare... it was only my 2nd year teaching and I still felt like I had no idea what I was doing! So that was pretty disheartening.
(Not knocking daycares)
Change can be so difficult, we often bring our own biases and fears to the table when talking about a difficult school change but to see growth, we must be willing to take charge and forge on. Capable leaders can help actively see the change that needs to occur.
