@lettuceorganise@acoyne That's not what it says. It could have been PPC->CPC and CPC->LPC that resulted in that net change. Of course, who knows what will happen on election day? Especially since the House of Commons isn't filled based on the popular vote.
Every one of us should be angry that one of Ontario’s largest children’s hospitals has had to call in the Red Cross to help with staffing.
Every one of us should be demanding that our government immediately invest more resources into our healthcare system.
Every one of us.
Do people not realize that wearing a mask is a fantastic way to protect those around you in case you happen to be sick and not know it yet? It might protect you, but why not wear a mask for those around you?
We really need a better system than first-past-the-post. A small minority of Ontarians supported @fordnation's party, and they are taking away Charter rights. This is not OK. The abuse of power is disgusting. #onpoli.
@yaxl_to I think a system like #ProportionalRepresentation is more likely to give political consequences since a party can't expect to have a majority with a minority of the votes, which happens routinely now. I'm interested to hear about alternatives, though.
@isteadde @mirgray@fordnation If people are too lazy to cast a ballot using one of the current means, how are they going to inform themselves about whom they are voting for? That part is harder, I think.
@isteadde @mirgray@fordnation I don't think it's the medium. I'm good with paper (and it's auditable) but we need our representatives to be representative, however we cast ballots.
@BrianWr95127965@FairVoteCanada@fordnation I'm more optimistic... I say let's see what political parties look like in Canada with proportional representation or even ranked ballots.
Ford tried to bury his dirty announcement on a late Friday afternoon. He’s paving over 7400 acres of the Greenbelt after promising not to touch in 2018.

@Sflecce If you have to use the Notwithstanding Clause to keep your legislation from being unconstitutional, something doesn't smell right. If you call it Section 33 in an interview instead of the Notwithstanding Clause, that stinks even more. #onpoli
