This government announcement is highly offensive. The reason that house prices are so high is because starter homes now cost a million dollars and mortgage rates are too high.

You're not going to fix it by putting five billion dollars into infrastructure, because we all know that the majority of that money will go to partisan insiders running stupid corporations to do stupid shit that has no value.

The announcement that would be of value is that the cost of a home for first-time buyers is capped at $300,000 - and that the mortgage rates are 2% over a term of 40 years, and buyers have full and total control of their fee simple property, uninhibited by all claims.

THAT would put new people into homes!
