The MAPI guy. Author of MFCMAPI and the Message Header Analyzer App.

@rust_foundation Honored - but I think you meant @sgrif. :) I'm a C++ guy myself - haven't tried Rust yet.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

So - I've taken over the Office Inspectors for Fiddler project. First order of business was to automate the build and set up signed releases. Parse your MAPI traffic with this:

@NathanMcNulty Heh. The article misspells “Download”. Btw, I’m still the guy on MFCMAPI. I just moved it into the Microsoft org cause they pay my salary.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@jason_epperly @timmisiak I try to leave breadcrumbs, in the code, or verbose output perhaps, to allow the curious some inroads to figuring out the manual process for themselves. Very helpful later when I’m the one trying to fix the script and have no idea how I got it working in the first place.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@timmisiak @chentiangemalc The two functions compile to identical assembly. You sure this isn’t just compiler optimization?

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@LouisIngenthron @shanselman @DamianEdwards Assembly class I took in college is the only class I use directly every day. I couldn’t imagine debugging c++ without stepping through assembly.

@AlexFilipin @theHoustonEuler @SwiftOnSecurity Good point. I often receive these recordings on a debug machine I haven’t installed office on so the unzip trick works for me.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@SwiftOnSecurity Does it count as another client if I wrote it? MFCMAPI

Letter I’ve obtained sent today by Dr. Mandy Cohen to chair of Union Co School Board requesting they rescind motion passed Monday.

“If Union County public schools do not take such steps by September 17th, legal action may be required to protect the public’s health.” @wsoctv

[Molly Griffin @mollylg]

@NC_Governor I’m a mother in Union County, NC whose school board just this morning voted to put politics in front of students’ and UCPS staffs’ lives. Please, please consider a statewide mask mandate. Our children’s lives are in your hands.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@vysecurity Thanks for the kind words. I’m open to improving MHA too. Pull Requests are always welcome.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@vysecurity @crzybkr46 It is. Everything happens client side. Your data is not sent anywhere.

[sgriffin @sgriffin]

@JasonJohMSFT I try but there are only so many hours a day.

Anyone interested in doing my job? https://t.co/CFune09H6O

We're also looking for engineers for Exchange:

@_randolph_west @localcelebrity Appreciate the sentiment, but MHA is a side project that just happens to fill this hole. I understand view headers is on the backlog for Mac Outlook.
