@ShowMusstGoOn Leaning against the table now, Daryan beams another toothy grin.
“We had a good weekend there. Don’t know how you did it, but you managed to get us to stay an extra day. Hotel rooms we had were huge too.”
[@ShowMusstGoOn]
Daryan was more than ready for his visit. It was one of many he’d gotten since being imprisoned, but it was one of the few he really cared about. Retrieved from his cell when his visitor arrived he doesn’t struggle as he’s lead by two men in uniform, flashing —
@ShowMusstGoOn the light against the glass. Still there is very little sympathy from him other than the thought it must be a hassle trying to cover it all. Something Klavier seemed intent on doing.
“Yeh. It was Berlin.” The chipper tone Klavier carried told him he was in the clear for now. —
@ShowMusstGoOn “That night might have been a dud, but that stretch of the tour was still a hell of a time. Think Germany was our next stop.” His mention of their time in Berlin is carefully placed, a way to test the waters and maybe give him some headway.
@ShowMusstGoOn casual chatter was good, Klavier didn’t seem as stiff as before. Not particularly relaxed, but getting there. He was the sappy, reminiscent type and Daryan knew that. He was teetering along a fine line even now, but he had a few cards to play. —
@ShowMusstGoOn covered in makeup before their next performance. As if not there at all. He didn’t see the point in worrying about something as small as that.
“Spent most of the next day nursing you and your hangover. They said it was my fault it happened.”
@ShowMusstGoOn fussing over Klavier after his little fall. He wasn’t one of them. Was too caught up in laughing at the absurdity of it all to get out of his own chair. He wonders if Klav remembers that part. He hadn’t hurt himself besides a few scratches and a bruise or two. All of which were —
@ShowMusstGoOn look at Klavier with his near perfect image and imagine him looking such a mess, but he’d seen it with his own eyes even if he’d been nearly as drunk himself. “Thought you could out drink me or something. And you were dead wrong, of course.”
@ShowMusstGoOn where Klavier found a way to embarrass himself- something he did often in his opinion.
“Mostly. I remember the concert, going to some bar to get drinks, and then your sorry self drunk off your ass, face first on the fucking floor.” He cackles again at the thought. It’s hard to —
@ShowMusstGoOn “Can’t blame all our troubles on that band though. Don’t doubt it played a part. There were good things that came from it, at least.” He sighs and for the first time it looks like there’s a genuine smile on his face. “We had some good times.”
@ShowMusstGoOn touch of people you cared about. Yet, with all that Daryan’s forgotten he hasn’t gotten rid of that ever nagging ache of having been wronged.
“That’d be an easy answer wouldn’t it, huh?” Rhetorical question, evidently by his snicker. —
