Sir, you may not have been present at the IISS brokered Track-II meet with Pakistani officials, but do you deny that such a meeting did happen in Colombo, or that multiple such meetings have happened in the last year?
Also, why is the RSS pushing for engagement with Pakistan?
RSS duffers parroting the american made term "South Asia" instead of Indian Subcontinent. And what exactly are the US and UK doing in a discussion about the Indian subcontinent?
The IISS has what purpose and interest in organising a South Asia Dialogue?
Why do they think they should do it?
Imperial nostalgia of the British establishment?
Trying to preserve their political role in an area they had colonised believing that it is necessary for retaining their great power status.
Otherwise they will shrink more and more into a mere European power.
These dialogues are a means to condition think tank participants and high ranking military figures and diplomats into accepting the legitimacy of UK’s interest in focusing on issues in South Asia and providing agenda inputs.
Makes the UK seen as a major beneficent power.
We should find a way to move out of this kind of British patronage.
Can one imagine an Indian think tank regularly organising a European Dialogue with similar high level participation of European think tanks and military and diplomatic figures?
The faith of people over the police has completely gone now.
She's just 27 girl who's unmarried. The police threw boiling water ruining her entire life now. Her hand and one breast have got burnt.
Don't test the patience of your citizens, it will break you apart, system !! 🥲
Who participated in these talks on both sides?
That would indicate how seriously all this should be taken.
And who is funding them?
That would give us an idea of external interests .
These would be real scoops.
Without this information such background briefing seems agenda promotion through media manipulation.
Who else was returning from Colombo this week and has publicly backed Hosable’s calls for “people to people” contacts with Pakistani civil society as opposed to the Pakistani state—deluding themselves into believing that this time, “their” attempt will lead to a change of heart?
Passenger next to my seat spent the whole 8 hour train journey eating and throwing all the leftovers under the seat. Dustbin was right outside. Later, when everyone was trying to sleep, he started playing videos loudly.
Wanted to teach him a lesson in civic sense, but I stopped myself because getting home safely is more important than teaching a random stranger morality. I have a family, goals, and plans for the future. You need to be practical. You can't change the whole country. If you confront these people, they won't learn or acknowledge their mistake. Instead, they'll start a fight and can turn violent.
Mumbai local train incident is one example. Man asked someone to close the door because of the rain and ended up losing his life to a person carrying a knife.
Reality is, civic sense can only be taught where people are willing to listen, in a moral society. Smartest choice is to stay invisible, earn more and build a life where you move up the economic ladder so you and your family can have safer spaces to avoid such people.
This is brilliant! 🔥
Inspired by Nitin Gadkari, dairy farmers in Jaipur have introduced M0, M50 and M100 milk.
M100 milk is best for health and can even be consumed by lactose intolerant people. Because it is pure water! 🤣
Now that Indian media is suggesting that this Track 2 may shift into Track 1, a reminder that during the ceasefire announcement, Rubio had “announced” that India and Pak agreed to “start talks on a broad set of issues at a neutral site”, which the GoI and MEA vehemently denied.
Used to say “naukar chakar” in routine manner without knowing the real deep meaning of “chakar”. Learnt it today thanks to @Arzookazmi30
Qamar Cheema sahab just didn’t know how to react. 😄
