🛑 This paper from failed Somalia’s constitution was drafted entirely by Somalia’s parliament in January 1961.

It’s their own unilateral act of “union” in an attempt to coverup the annexation of Somaliland.

signed by 3 Somalians and their president without any involvement from State of Somaliland.

It has nothing to do with the State of Somaliland’s govt or consent.

Imagine if Somaliland’s parliament drafted a law claiming Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen or Djibouti as part of Somaliland.. signed by the parliament of Somaliland themselves… with 0 input or agreement from any of these countries 😆

That’s exactly what happened.

By January 1961.. State of Somaliland which is older than was sovereign since 26th June 1960 got annexed..

◾️ the union between somaliland nad Somalia was never ratifed
◾️Somaliland's search for recognition is historically unique and justified!
