Life as an EK cabin crew; A thread.
Today is my last day of service after 6 short years (12.09.14 - 21.20.20). I plan to add to this thread, over time, things I miss already and things I took for granted, things I won’t miss and am glad I’d never go through again.
another depressing part of this horror show is you can almost reconstruct the social backgrounds of the one left to die on a roof, and those who were ushered discreetly to their homes
Had my first field experience with Al Jazeera, covering a protest in KL today. I learned so much from just a couple of hours, got an interview and did a little story for the live blog - a good end to the week 🥹
People in #Gaza are in extreme peril while the world watches on.
No one can claim “I did not know” as the images, footage and voices of unspeakable suffering continue.
We cannot turn a blind eye to this human tragedy any longer.
A Palestinian is killed in Gaza approximately every 4 minutes.
By the time the Parliament votes on the #GazaCeasefire, 100 more people may be dead who would’ve been alive this morning.

As were forcibly displaced from the city, Israeli soldiers were taking selfies and photos under the rubble of homes on the street.
They were posing in-front thousands of displaced dehumanized Palestinians.
