The king's mother, Yusta Asiimwe Amooti…

She is called Nyina Omukama rather than "Queen Mother," because the Queen Mother title is reserved for someone who has previously reigned as queen consort.

Best Kemigisa, King Oyo's mother, no longer has an official palace role now that her son has died.

Let’s talk about the absurdity of buying STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLES with your hard earned money, only for you to be arrested and the vehicle impounded.
These vehicles are usually stolen from other countries and sold to unsuspecting Ugandans and vice versa.
Did you know that Interpol has a database of all reported stolen motor vehicles worldwide? Why get cheated when we can verify for you and issue a clearance? Luxury vehicles are the most prone.
Before you import a vehicle or buy from a local dealer, come to us , apply for verification, attach relevant vehicle documentation and let us do the rest. It takes a few minutes , at most one hour.

You’ve earned some money so far? Don’t be contented with it. Think and think fast. You should get more. Don’t forget the saving & investment culture. Time will come when to eat it without feeling it. Katonda akuteremu obwangu.

This trend of insulting each other is the new low in Uganda’s politics. On the flip side, I’m glad it’s happening at this rate. Whoever claimed monopoly of abusing is getting a bitter dose of his/her own medicine. Hopefully sanity will return.

Earlier this week, the International Court of Justice ordered Uganda to pay $325 million for plundering DR Congo’s resources in the late 1990s.

Today on #NBSEgale with @SimonKaggwaNjal, we dissect this issue and more.

NUP after all are not as radical as I previously thot! I visited their head office, registered as a member, then picked forms to become presidential candidate. I found @HEBobiwine, like @KagutaMuseveni was being treated as sole presidential candidate for the party.

@ShabanBantariza: A credible election arises out of its fairness. If it is free and fair, it is credible, believable, and supportable. A free and fair election where nobody is disenfranchised is important.

Yesterday a woman in Mexico gave birth to immature triplets all of whom tested positive of #COVID19! But the mother and father tested negative! Now scientists are trying to find out how these kids contracted the virus in their mother’s womb without their mother having it!

Earlier today, I learnt of the passing of Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Kasirye Gwanga. To many, Gwanga was an enigmatic soldier. There are many things that could be debated about him and his legacy.
His patriotism is not one of them.
Rest well Soldier.
