If you're interested in theology and you're in the centre of Edinburgh right now, you may want to rescue a few historic tomes from the skip outside the Free Church Offices on the Mound. Would be nice to see some of them find a place on a shelf again rather than all go to landfill

Frank Auerbach, Primrose Hill 1978, oil on board
Frank Auerbach died at his home in London on Monday, age 93, his gallery have confirmed. I saw this painting of Mornington Crescent @Tate - not entirely sure why, but it captures the city perfectly. Auberach called London: "This raw thing. This marvellously unpainted city." RIP.
Have you seen our art collection on @artukdotorg ? We've recently added more pieces including a selection of our amazing banners, showing the legacy of North Lanarkshire workers asserting their rights! You can check them out here: https://t.co/jouX8op4NA
