This one took a lot of experimentation to get something compelling visually. Really cool prompt @darien.brito. This got me to experiment with this shader in a way I would have never normally done. Also had some fun with the sound design distorting the song with the twist.

I’m excited to launch the new @shaderpark plugin for TouchDesigner!
It has support for @josefpelz’s T3D operators! It now has no installation process, also supports occluding with other 3D objects, soft shadows, and the ability to easily scale the objects up and down in TD.
Huge shout out to Josef for their support on these new features!

#genuary Day 12: Lava Lamp
Visuals: Torin explored raymarched shaders using @shaderpark starting with sinusoidal motion for spheres that were blended together for a meta ball effect. After, he played around with the lighting and reflections to create a mix between a vibrant liquid glass and metal aesthetic.
Music by @entropic_sonics: Ritwik generated the chords using an early prototype of a new Chord Explorer interface that he’s developing. After the initial progression, he ran it through a multitude of instruments and began stacking layers. Starting from the middle, he worked his way up and down the frequency spectrum until he had a thick, evolving ecosystem of sounds that were interacting with one another.
