Saturday @realchriswilder read a post of mine. Sunday he'd built a sealed-bid auction on Nillion, on testnet, without talking to anyone at Nillion
Every bid split across 3 nodes, all of them open together at close, and the seller gets paid in the same transaction. Three test auctions run end to end already
He's a Zama ecosystem dev with 11 dev-program wins, and it shows. Ship speed is unreal, go follow him
Mainnet tomorrow. The builders are already here
The familiar USDT we all know and have been using with deep liquidity but now encrypted!
Your transactions and your charity work shouldn't broadcast your entire portfolio..
Send transactions that look like this onchain on ethereum Mainnet.
No bridges, no Shielded pools

The beauty of $ZAMA protocol
Zama is a turning point for privacy and confidentiality. Hear @randhindi talk about @zama and explain why it's important for the future of privacy.
This is why Zama matters. @andyyy
$ZAMA
$ZAMA ISN’T CHASING A SMALL PRIVACY MARKET. THEY’RE GOING AFTER $50–60 BILLION A DAY …
If you’re a $ZEC investor because you believe financial #privacy will become increasingly valuable, I think you need to look at what is developing around $ZAMA.
@silhouette_ex and @xStocksFi launching #RFQ trading for tokenized equities caught my attention.
But it sent me down a much bigger rabbit hole.
RFQ isn’t some new crypto experiment
According to @Zama CEO Rand Hindi, OTC trading desks settle roughly:
$50–60 BILLION PER DAY.
That’s potentially $18–22 TRILLION of annualized trading activity.
And spot OTC volume has reportedly grown 109% YoY.
Why does so much institutional trading still happen away from public markets?
One reason is simple:
Information has value.
If you’re moving $10M, $50M or $100M, you don’t necessarily want the entire market seeing your size, direction and strategy before the trade settles.
Now #imagine bringing that RFQ model fully onchain…
without sacrificing #Confidentiality
That’s what $ZAMA is attempting with Confidential RFQ.
Trade intents are encrypted.
Quotes are encrypted.
Market makers compete.
Settlement occurs onchain.
And sensitive information doesn’t have to be broadcast to everyone watching the blockchain.
But here’s the part that makes this especially interesting to me as a $ZAMA investor:
100% OF CONFIDENTIAL RFQ SWAP FEES ARE DESIGNED TO BUY BACK AND BURN $ZAMA
Think about the potential flywheel.
More institutional volume
→ More RFQ activity
→ More protocol fees
→ More $ZAMA purchased
→ More $ZAMA burned
$ZAMA doesn’t need to capture the entire $50–60B/day OTC market for the numbers to become interesting.
1% = $500–600M/day in volume.
5% = $2.5–3B/day.
10% = $5–6B/day.
Those aren’t forecasts. They’re simply illustrations of the size of the market $ZAMA is positioning its technology to address.
And scalability is moving faster than I expected too.
$ZAMA recently demonstrated 1,000 confidential transfers PER SECOND on GPUs …. roughly a year ahead of its own engineering roadmap.
Then look at what #FHE has already handled in production.
Zama’s confidential token auction attracted $121.3M in Total Value Shielded, $118.5M committed, 24,697 bids and 11,103 unique bidders.
At one point, Zama says the auction became the most-used application on Ethereum, ahead of USDT, USDC and Uniswap.
That’s why I keep telling $ZEC investors:
Zcash and Zama aren’t competing for the same winner-take-all privacy market.
$ZEC is demonstrating something incredibly important:
People want private money.
$ZAMA is exploring the next question:
What happens when entire financial applications need privacy?
RFQs.
Stablecoins.
Tokenized stocks.
RWAs.
OTC trading.
DeFi.
Institutional treasury activity.
That’s a potentially enormous expansion of the privacy thesis.
And the more assets that move onto transparent public blockchains, the more obvious the need for confidentiality becomes.
$ZEC can win by making money private.
$ZAMA can win by making onchain finance confidential.
Both can be right.
And if trillions of dollars eventually move through tokenized markets, I think we’re still incredibly early in understanding how valuable that distinction could become.
Credit to @DangaWrites from @TheBlockCo for the xStocks/Silhouette reporting that sent me down this rabbit hole.
Brian, great article. Sometimes the most valuable reporting isn’t just the story itself … it’s recognizing the much larger trend hiding behind it.
RFQ is moving onchain.
Now I’m watching to see whether $ZAMA can make it confidential.
$ZAMA $ZEC #Zcash #FHE #RFQ #Privacy #Tokenization #RWA
pretty sure the secret ballot exists for a reason. anyway, onchain voting has been public this whole time. consider it FIXED with @AragonProject and @zama
In a recent interview with @gazza_jenks at @TheBlockCo, Zama CEO @randhindi makes the case for TRILLIONS on the Zama Protocol as more utility comes for confidential assets... swap, earn, rwas, payments. TRILLIONS.
