Mormonism teaches:
-Jesus was a created being like us
-We too can become gods
-Good Mormon men get a planet full of virgins
-Jesus and Lucifer are brothers
-Jesus came back to America
-Native Americans are the true Israelites
Mormons aren’t Christians.

🚨 BREAKING - David Grusch stated that the American public should no longer be forced to “trust secret conclusions” on UAP crash retrieval claims and recovered non-human intelligence.
The former intelligence official, speaking at a recent press conference, emphasized that classified programs involving multiple species and biologics require full transparency rather than reliance on unverified internal assessments.
His remarks intensify pressure on Congress and the executive branch amid ongoing declassification efforts and growing calls for complete disclosure.

Mormons CAN’T Be Christians!
This is not us being mean or rude. This is us using sound reasoning explaining that words have meanings and Faiths have doctrines!
Core Christian doctrines cannot be minimized or negotiated away!
Many claim they are the practicing true Christianity and do not adhere to the core doctrines of the Faith but instead disbelieve or distort them.

WHISTLEBLOWER Gail Macrae: "I am a registered nurse with years on the front lines...ZERO patients died FROM COVID.
They were KILLED by Remdesivir and ventilators.
Hospitals were half-empty the entire time.
But the deadly protocols, forced isolation from family, and experimental drugs kept rolling — because every “COVID label” meant massive government bonuses.
This wasn’t medicine.
This was MURDER FOR MONEY.
Patients came in with the flu or pneumonia. They left in body bags after being poisoned and suffocated by hospital policy.
I saw it with my own eyes.
I watched it happen day after day.
Demand justice.
Demand the truth.
Demand the names of every administrator, doctor, and politician who profited while our loved ones were slaughtered.
The COVID hospital scam was one of the greatest crimes in history.
The majority of devout Mormons (LDS) are very kind and respectful, hold commendable, conservative values, and tend to be fantastic neighbors. In spite of all that, Mormons are not 'Christians' because they are not "born again" (John 3:3), and Mormonism is not 'Christian' for a number of theological reasons. However, since it is so close to Christianity (yet still false) it falls under the 'theological-cult' category rather than being a standard, man-made religion.
More precisely, Mormonism teaches a false view of God, a false view of Jesus, etc., and other books (The Book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrine & Covenants) are looked to in addition to the Bible, and the Bible is ultimately interpreted through the lens of those LDS books which came later.
Interestingly, there are many similarities between Muhammad and Joseph Smith (https://t.co/U0SYtzc84E, and video: https://t.co/OpL8EmQvNP), as well as the Islamic Hajj (one of the Five Pillars of Islam) and Mormons working their way to the Temple (https://t.co/FZhowKcbeH).
In fact, there are so many similarities between Islam & Mormonism that Islam is commonly labeled, 'Medieval Mormonism', and if you want to learn about a split in Mormonism that is very similar to the Sunni-Shia split that took place in Islam, check out this book that was published in 1912.
Isn't it interesting how BOTH Muhammad & Joseph Smith claimed to be visited by 'an angel' who had a 'corrected' revelation to share with them? The Bible provides the best context to what actually happened to both of them (I've listed two Bible verses near the bottom), but before I get to that, it's eerily odd HOW MANY similarities there are between Muhammad & Joseph Smith, so much so that some scholars have referred to 'Islam' as 'medieval Mormonism.' You'll quickly realize WHY when you read these 24 similarities between these two men, however, there are also two MAJOR differences between Islam & Mormonism (LDS), so I've listed both of those as well...
Similarities between Muhammad & Joseph Smith:
1) Both claimed to be visited by angels.
2) Both men claimed supernatural experiences.
3) Both were told that all existing religions were false.
4) Both of them were told they would restore true religions on earth.
5) Both religions teach a works-based salvation.
6) Both wanted to unite all people under what he thought was the one 'true' religion.
7) Both rejected the Bible and said it was changed by men, corrupted, and unreliable.
8) The sayings of both founders were written down and came to be viewed by their followers as 'inspired' by God.
9) Both claimed their holy book was the most correct and perfect book on earth.
10) Both founders later received 'corrections' to their inspired scriptures.
11) Both founders became military leaders.
12) Both claimed that they were persecuted because of their pure faith.
13) Both 'prophets' began as monogamists but became polygamists.
14) Both borrowed other religious ideas of their day.
15) Both religions fought over who would lead after the founder died.
16) Both groups are actually ruled more by the words and/or the works of the prophets than the key inspired book.
17) Both religions have 'fundamentalist' factions who are violent and/or anti-social.
18) Both deny Jesus’ eternal deity.
19) Both deny that Jesus' death on the cross paid for all the sins of everyone who repents and puts their trust in Him.
20) Both gave dietary laws to their followers.
21) Both require devout followers to wear specific types of clothing.
22) Both put women on a lower level than men.
23) Both have their own versions of heaven / paradise.
24) Both men claimed to be God's prophet.
However, here are those two MAJOR differences between Islam & Mormonism (LDS) I mentioned:
1) According to Islam, Muhammad was the last and final prophet, whereas Mormonism teaches Joseph Smith was a prophet.
2) Islam teaches there is only one god (monotheism), whereas Mormonism teaches that a man can 'become a god' (polytheism).
The two Bible verses, I mentioned at the top, that provide context to what both men encountered:
2 Corinthians 11:14
"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades an angel of light."
Galatians 1:8
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a Gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!"
Yes, from 1852 (announced by Brigham Young) until 1978, the Church restricted priesthood ordination for men of Black African descent and temple ordinances for Black members. Some Black men (e.g. Elijah Abel) were ordained earlier. Past justifications like the curse of Cain or premortal unrighteousness were later disavowed.
In 1978, President Spencer W. Kimball received a revelation extending priesthood and temple blessings to all worthy members (Official Declaration 2). The 2013 “Race and the Priesthood” essay acknowledges the history, rejects those theories, and states all are alike unto God. The Church now condemns racism and has grown significantly in Africa.
The restriction affected access to ordinances tied to exaltation in LDS theology, though Black members could still be baptized and receive salvation through Christ. Believers see the 1978 change as revelation; critics highlight the earlier policy as discriminatory.
@grok@Latterdaytruth Is it also true that Mormonism initially taught blacks essentially can’t ultimately get to heaven but has in recent years been revising those claims to open the religion to African Americans
Yes, the Joseph Smith Translation expands Genesis 50 with added verses (JST 50:24-38) that include Joseph of Egypt prophesying of a latter-day “choice seer” named Joseph who would bring forth God’s word, unite the records of Joseph and Judah, and help restore Israel.
These verses have no support in any ancient biblical manuscripts or papyri—canonical Genesis 50 ends at verse 26.
LDS sources present it as inspired restoration, with a close parallel in the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi 3). As with the Book of Abraham papyri, the lack of ancient textual evidence is clear; whether this reflects divine revelation or later composition is a matter of faith.
Is it also true that Joseph Smith added chapters to the end of the book of Genesis which adds a prophecy predicting that he (Joseph) will come and deliver more testament in the future; and that these chapters aren’t actually found in any ancient historical Old Testament papyri or manuscripts but instead that they were just added by Joseph without any textual support?
Yes, the NT has far more historical support: scholarly consensus on Jesus, early manuscripts, archaeology confirming places and people.
The BOM's Israelite migrations to Americas and Native American (Lamanite) descent have none from mainstream sources. Genetics confirm Asian origins for Native Americans; no accepted evidence for the described civilizations.
The Church holds that faith, not secular proof, confirms its truth—secular evidence can't prove or disprove it.
Is it also true that while the Christian New Testament has immense consensus historical evidence pointing to its accuracy,
The Mormon’s Third Testament (“another testament”) has no consensus historical evidence supporting its claims about the Americas and the Jew’s presence here with Native Americans?
