@spjones12 @KIN110UofR I think many people riot after sporting events to show their commitment to the team they cheer for. However, I do not think they consider the consequences of their actions before doing something like a riot. Riots can become very out of hand and often dangerous.

@AlexandraEnsign Some people are horrible. How could they do that to an innocent child? Fans become so obsessed with a sport or team that the lose sight of what is even moral. It also said in the article that no security was around to help, which was a factor discussed in class.

No one should be treated this way, no matter what color they are or what they look like. If society stopped being racist, I think sport would too, don’t you agree?
