Candace just used the same specific terms Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders frequently used.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler referred to Jews as "a harmful bacillus," "vermin," and "parasites". The Nazi propaganda film Der Ewige Jude (The Eternal Jew) from 1940 also equated Jews with rats and other pests. This rhetoric was integral to the systematic, physical extermination of the Jewish population during the Holocaust.

Candace's language has appeared in other contexts as well. For example, the Protestant reformer Martin Luther used the term "bitter worms" to describe the Jewish people in his book On the Jews and Their Lies. In modern times, individuals, including a former BBC employee, have been fired for using similar hateful language on social media.
