@AmazonHelp Hi, my order was meant to arrive a week ago. I want to cancel it for a refund. Each time I request a cancellation, I'm told it can't be cancelled, but that I can cancel if I want a refund. What?? You're sending me in circles. I would just like my money back.
@StellaKuru1@david_jenkins__ This is how Stede found the little island that BB had dumped half his crew on. They were the treasure at the end of the rainbow πποΈπ
@MoneySavingExp I clicked 'Join' through the Nectar app, registered, and when it took me back to the Nectar app it said I would only get 500 points after booking my first stay. But I thought that was for people who already had an account, not new registrants...
@MartinSLewis As someone who lives in the SE, I don't think I would have started saving in a LISA for my first house if I had known that the price cap wouldn't rise with inflation. Now I can't touch my own money for fear of the penalty and it feels very unfair.
@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow I'm 38 and have started investing every week in a low-fee global ETF in my S&S ISA from my cash ISA. With time in the market (rather than timing the market) being the golden rule, would you suggest I invest the rest in one lump sum to get it in the market asap rather than weekly?
@RobertW33333@Paula3913118220@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow Age is also a factor. The older you get, the more the investment focus should shift to capital preservation and mitigating inflation, i.e. lower level risks like bonds rather than equities. Plus, ideally investing for at least five years.
@BootsUK Hi, I placed an order on 25th April and still haven't received a 'ready for collection' notification. Order history on the app just says 'dispatched' as the status. No update since 28th April. Might my order have gone missing?
@MoneySavingExp Their old 'spend and immediately save' approach was much better. The new time-limited 'spend and earn' approach doesn't feel like a perk at all.
@MartinSLewis I used to work in student finance at a uni. More students/parents should know about current year income assessments. My dad was made redundant while I was studying but I didn't know about CYI and so missed out on ££££ in grants & support because they assessed a previous tax year.
@Dannyceres@jpc101@MartinSLewis Think of a set combo of letters and numbers to tag onto the end of ALL your passwords, but DON'T save that part of the password in the password manager. That way any hacker still won't know your full password, but you only need to remember the short combo to tag on the end π
