Introducing coding sessions.
Linear Agent can now triage issues, investigate the cause, write the fix, open a PR, and bring the code back for review.
All shared with your team in Linear.
Code review, but faster.
Introducing Diffs. A new way to review PRs, directly inside Linear.

@LauraBratton5@ServiceNow@Uber@praveenTweets This was expected -> Token usage & pricing hasn’t been correctly budgeted.
Two options in front of companies, 1) Lay off people to pay for tokens, OR 2) you don’t have ROI to spend.
I suspect the path forward is (1).
@sajithpai@arjunkpuri The number of trains between major points haven't increased in frequency. Folks have to buy months in advance. If they 10x train frequency, demand will take it on.
We saw the same thing with designers who were really fast with Figma and created FnF proposals...
There is no substitute for deep understanding and finding a solution that gives you the most impact and optionality.

As former head of product for infra at Uber, My take on Anthropic tokens rate limits fiasco.
It is more aggressive on image generation, and has run into infrastructure reliability issues (see this in sessions being lost, incomplete runs), which probably adds to perception
Linear turns context into execution. Ready as a product context layer for an agentic era. This is a huge accelerant for the orgs. Great work @karrisaarinen@artman !
Importantly, as the middle part of software work (writing code) becomes faster, the beginning (context) and end (reviews) will matter more.
Now Linear can do both. Congratulations @linear !
Every evolution in software builds on what came before.
You don’t start from scratch, you carry the best parts forward. The next step isn’t to replace the workflows, it’s making them self-driving.
That’s where @linear is headed.
We've raised $7M to help companies build AI agents that actually learn and work.
@Osmosis_AI is a platform for companies to fine-tune models that outperform foundation models with reinforcement learning.
Better, faster, and cheaper.
