A woman stands alone in an upstairs bay window of a weather-beaten detached house. Her eyes, hidden behind thick-rimmed sunglasses, scan the infinite darkness of the sea that lies beyond the pebble beach. Waves of wind carry the sound of shifting stones up into her room.
She is wearing a wide-brimmed, straw hat and is naked except for a pair of shorts and the cold air that has laid a frost on the window glass. Her arms are crossed, arthritic claws holding each elbow forming an empty cradle across her breasts.
In the 60's, this great instrumental was the piece you had to learn to prove your prowess as a player. There are so many versions of it. For me, the best version is Davy Graham's original recording. Budding guitarists should look at his work. #Angi#Folk https://t.co/oc3FUAnYTS
