@Tancrededib Not just no co-founder “yet.” But for Human Friendly Robotics, no co-founder period. I’m surrounding myself with talent and advisors that are better than me. But the vision is singularly mine.
@Tancrededib We’re building robots that do construction. Our first robot, Tyler, already has deployments for tile installation. Our next one, Sparky (which does automated wire pulling), will be targeting data centers.
A lot of energy is going into making robots look human.
But humans aren’t optimized for the work we’re trying to automate.
We get tired.
We’re inconsistent.
We break down.
The goal isn’t to replicate that.
It’s to outperform it.
We’ve talked to a lot of contractors.
Not one has asked about our model architecture.
They ask:
– How many square feet per day?
– How many people does it replace?
– When can I get it?
That’s the product spec.
@JasonrShuman Our superior skillet is our brain’s ability to adapt a novel circumstances. Our body is incredibly ill-equipped for almost every actual type of work.
